Delivery cost elsewhere in the countryside: Get in touch and we'll look into it.

When do you ship?

We offer flower deliveries every day of the week, most days of the year.

Delivery times in the Capital area are divided into three slots on weekdays but they're from 10am-1pm, from 1pm-4pm (1pm-3pm on Fridays) and from 5pm-8pm. On Saturdays and Sundays we deliver from 11am-3pm and from 4pm-7pm. We do our best to deliver in the timeslot that is chosen. If the recipient is someone else than the sender and the chosen time doesn't suit him then we'll of course find another time. Likewise, if these timeslots are not suitable or a more precise time of delivery is requested, please get in touch and we'll try to accommodate the wish.

Deliveries to the Southern peninsula and South of Iceland can leave from us twice a day on weekdays.

Deliveries elsewhere in the countryside leave from us with Samskip Landflutningar or with plane on weekdays. It depends on the destination when delivery time takes place but that can be late same day or the day after. In these cases the flowers are kept in a cooler on the way. NOTICE! It's not delivered to the door but the recipient needs to pick-up to the station/airport.

How does sending flowers to a church funeral work?

The order process is the same as for other flower deliveries.

You choose the flowers/arrangements you want to deliver and add to your cart.

In the cart you choose the day the funeral takes place and the timeslot that fits best so that the flowers will arrive around 2 hours before the funeral takes place.

In recipients information you insert the name of the deceased as ,,first name and last name''. In ,,address'' you insert the name of the church and make sure to insert the correct postal code of the church so that the delivery cost is calculated correctly.

Is it possible to send flowers to Landspitali (the National Hospital)?

Yes we can send flowers there but please note that it is not allowed to bring live flowers to certain departments. The ones we know about are the neurology department (B2), the hematology department and the intensive care unit. There may be more departments where it is not allowed.

If you are in doubt, it would be good if you would contact the relevant department and check what the rules are.

Do you contact the recipient or can I have the delivery as a surprise?

We reserve the right to contact recipients to confirm time and place. If it is desired that the shipment be a surprise and that we do not contact the recipients, the sender must have ensured that someone will be there to receive the shipment or give permission for the shipment to be left behind.

How long in advance do I need to order?

We can process and send flower wreaths and candle decorations within the Capital Region on the same day if ordered at least 3 hours before delivery or 1 hour before the store closes.

For smaller decorations; funeral wreaths 40 cm, crosses, hearts and flower arrangements in a pot must be ordered a day in advance, 24 hours before delivery.

Larger decorations; funeral wreaths 60cm, coffin decorations and large flower arrangements in a pot must be ordered two days in advance, 48 hours before delivery.

If an order is to be sent outside the capital city area, we request extra time, up to 24 hours depending on the destination.

Is there a minimum amount I need to order for?

If you want us to send the order within the capital area, we require that the order be made for a minimum of ISK 1750, or equal to the price of a single, large rose.

If you want to send outside the capital area, the minimum amount is ISK 3900.

Can I pay with card through the phone?

Currently, it should be possible but only with a credit card.

However, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that there is a new option for paying over the phone called payment request. Then we send you a payment request via SMS, you click on the link in the SMS and fill in the card information yourself and complete the payment. This is supposed to be safer than the phone payments.
